I was so humbled and honoured when my absolutely wonderful vet Wendy asked me to take her Italian greyhound Colo’s 13th birthday photos. This wonderful vet we found (just when our other vet retired), surrounds herself with beautiful art of her pups – I mean I’ve sat in her office envious of the photographers before me who have taken beautiful portraits of her dogs that now hang on her office walls.
Every budding photographer probably goes through the same thought process: I wonder if she meant to email ME?! Perhaps she is just inquiring to be nice? *Looking at dear husband* Did you ask her to ask me?!
I have been looking forward to this shoot for over a month and, of course, meeting the handsome Mr. Colo more so. He’s a true gentleman in all aspects. He listens to his mom, wants to please his lady, and of course has the most excellent table manners when it comes to a grand cake smash.
Any parent of a teen-aged fur baby can relate…
