I have ALWAYS wanted a sister, a twin sister would have been ideal. I understand that beggars can’t be choosers. I went so far as to try to marry a man with sisters. I’m the oldest of 5 children and the only girl (I’ve always wanted an older brother to look out for me too, just like in Sweet Valley High). Le sigh.
I had almost given up hope, until my brother Jeremy told me he was going to ask his lady Michelle to marry him this past May. I was beyond excited for him to find his forever love. Part of me, okay a large part of me, was excited to finally have a sister! This is a case of where the beggar comes out on top and wins the lottery. Not only my brother lucky enough to marry Michelle who is patient, loving and kind (with a killer sense of style), but Michelle is lucky enough to marry my slightly geeky, super handsome, understanding, full of love little brother.
I’m so excited to watch the rest of their love story unfold! Maybe one day I’ll be an Aunty too -eeekkk! But again, this isn’t about me 😉
