Take a little time and get to know a little about me.
Photographer / Designer
My interest in photography started when I was but a wee tot. Walking around with a Cabbage Patch Kids camera (remember those sweet old school flash packs that looked like a pack of gum?) It graduated into a hobby when I got into my high school photography program and a way of life when I attended the Alberta College of Art and Design to complete my BFA in photography, that’s right I got the papers and everything.
I have always had a life around animals – my aunt has horses, my grandmother pugs and we had rabbits one of the animals my mom wasn’t allergic to.
When I graduated to living on my own (shortly after a stint of living in Japan) the first thing on my agenda was getting myself a dog and I haven’t looked back. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have made it through life with such humility and grace without my furry companions.
My life now revolves around my boxer who you will find featured frequently on this site. They are the reason I got into pet photography (when you spend most of your free time photographing your baby loves it becomes something you get really good at.) Unfortunately, I lost my white beast in July 2018 but, my life still (sadly?) revolves around her.
I’ve been making creative Christmas cards featuring the best of selfie/photoshop technology to entertain my friends and family during the holiday season.
Things I love other than animals:
My family and friends
Having dance parties in the shower
Items on the list change priorities on a daily basis – I am a lady after all.
